First Aid Provision - Hospital Appointments - Hospital Transfers
The Community Ambulance
These are worrying times and due to the demands on The National Health Service (NHS). Our team consist of NHS Nurses, Doctors and ancilliary staff as well as Volunteers, offering their time to take patients home from hospital.
This service is entirely crowd funded and survives by donations only and is not funded by local or central government.
What have we been up to?
A great deal of change has been and will continue to effect our local and global communities. Covid-19 has certainly had a major impact on everyones lives and will be remembered as one of the worlds most noted catastrophes to effect our planet.
Initially, I had the idea to set up an ambulance to take patients home from hospital and take patients to essential hospital appointment such as cancer patients and those with mobility issues. This would be a free service that would be funded by myself and any monies raised to keep the cost of the ambulance and supplies of safety equipment for the volunteers and patients being transported.
We've also teamed up with Project Outlook in order to support our shielding patients across the region.
